Greetings From the Capital Stewardship Campaign Directors!
"Ministry Through Sacrificial Giving with a Vision for Changing Lives"

As we look forward to the new year, we can’t help but reflect on your continued commitment over the past year in giving to the Capital Stewardship Campaign. We have been encouraged and inspired by your persistence in meeting your financial pledges to the Dr. Ephraim Williams Family Life Center, despite fiscal and personal challenges.

At the last Business Meeting, held in December, 2010, there was an update report on where we are in the campaign. At the last reporting, there was a $2.2 million dollar balance remaining. Various outreaches were established to close the fiscal gap on this balance. From that time to the present, you have accomplished the following:

  • Financial receipts totaled $1,310,480 reducing the amount owed by 60%.
  • A remaining balance of $ $889,519.96 will be our focus for 2011.
  • 148 pledges have been completed with 238 still actively giving.
  • Second Sunday’s principal offerings totaled $17,620.96 to-date.

We can’t help but thank God for your faithfulness to this campaign as it supports ministry outreach to bring others into the saving knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It is our hope and prayer that we continue in our giving as a church body until our commitment is met.

We’d like to thank you specifically for your steadfastness and sacrifice which will never be forgotten. We ask that you continue to pray and intercede with us for our brothers and sisters who are determined to finish their pledges this year. We are confident in the Lord that the remaining $889k balance will be resolved. It is our prayer that God will continue to bless and prosper you and yours this year.

“We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other”.
– 2 Thessalonians 1:3
