What is St. Paul Academy?

St. Paul Academy is an after school program designed for children and youth (ages 5-17). The program is structured to assist students with their homework. However, the main component of the program is the character development feature.

Students are taught manners, etiquette, obedience, sacrifice, self-control and a sundry of other pertinent topics as it relates to their relationship with God.

Core Values:

  • Christ-centered
  • Honesty
  • Humility
  • Respect toward others
  • Service toward others
  • Commitment to Education

*There will be chapel service and Christian Education classes on Fridays.

What are the criteria of the program?

  • The first criteria for St. Paul Academy is a good attitude. It is our belief that any child can learn as long as they have a good attitude. We expect students to come to the Academy with a positive attitude.
  • The Academy is free and open only to St. Paul members.

What are the Parent’s role?

  • The parent is responsible for transportation arrangements. The Academy does not provide transportation.
  • Parents must inspect their child’s homework to make sure it is complete. Please keep in mind students only have 1.5 hours to complete their homework. This time may not be sufficient for high school students. As a result, parents will have to make sure they complete their assignments at home.
  • Parents should make sure their child have church attire with them every Friday for chapel.
  • Reinforce the lessons being taught by the Academy. We expect parents to set a good example at home by practicing Christian principles.

What are the student’s role?

  • Come to the Academy with a good attitude.
  • Bring all homework assignments.
  • Participate in all activities.
  • Obey all rules (St. Paul Code of Conduct as well as rules and regulations).

What are the benefits of the program?

  • Students will learn how to incorporate God in their lives (Practical Theology).
  • There will be a positive change in each student’s behavior.
  • Students will learn the importance of helping others.
  • Students will learn about time management and setting realistic goals.
  • In short, there will be a paradigm shift toward Christ.
